GarageBand for Mac updated with MP3 export, new drummer pack

Apple today updated GarageBand for the Mac, bringing the music-making app to version 10.0.2 and adding several improvements, including a new drummer music pack. The biggest change to GarageBand 10.0.2 is a new export option that allows users to export songs as MP3 files. Other changes listed in the release notes include: Improves stability and addresses a number of minor issues Adds the option to export songs as an MP3 Contains multiple enhancements to Accessibility Includes 3 new Drummers and drum kits from the rock, songwriter, and R&B genres* *Part of the one-time in-app purchase that includes the complete set of GarageBand sounds, loops, and drummers, as well as access to the GarageBand Lesson Store. GarageBand 10 was released along with OS X Mavericks last fall and was offered for free for customers who purchased a new Mac. This change in price was extended to all iLife and iWork apps for both iOS and OS X customers.
