Facebook for iOS v8.0 brings updated design for iPad, improvements for reliability and speed

Facebook has just released a major update for its iOS app, at least if you go by the change in the version number. It seems a little odd that the version has been bumped up to v8.0, as it doesn’t seem to include any major changes. Here’s what’s new in version 8.0 according to Facebook app’s App Store page: A simple way to see and choose a photo album’s audience An updated design that makes it easier to post and share on iPad Improvements for reliability and speed Let’s hope it fixes the annoying crashing issue that has been plaguing some users.
