Sketchy renderings of the 4.7 inch and 5.7 inch iPhone 6c models crop up

A new leaked sketch from Japan has revealed the possible design of the upcoming low cost iPhone 6c models. The sketches show a 4.7 inch model as well as a 5.7 inch variant sporting a very familiar design. It has long been rumored that Apple will continue launching two iPhones every year, with one targeting the high end consumers and the other meant for the midrange market segment. The sketches reveal a design very similar to the iPhone 5c with rounded edges and rectangular volume buttons. But it is said that Apple might go with an all metal iPhone lineup this time, getting rid of the plastic/polycarbonate iPhone altogether. It is widely speculated that Apple will launch iPhone 6 with a 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch display. According to report from Japanese newspaper Nikkei yesterday, Apple could launch the new iPhones as early as September. So we are quite skeptical about these renderings as it seems unlikely that Apple will launch a low-end 5.7-inch iPhone 6c and a higher end 5.5-inch iPhone 6. If Apple does end up launching iPhones with bigger screens, then we expect it to launch an iPhone 6 with 5.5-inch, 4.7-inch and 4-inch display, and iPhone 6c with a 4-inch display.
