Apple is widely expected to launch iPhone 6 with a bigger screen this year to compete with Android based smartphones that typically come bigger screens. So designer Sam Beckett has come up with an iPhone 6 concept, which he is calling iPhone Air, to give us a glimpse of what the next generation iPhone may look like. Becket’s iPhone Air concept features a bigger 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 1920×1080, and pixel density of 468 ppi, which would make the display 17% larger than iPhone 5s, and with 68% more pixels. As you would expect, the iPhone Air concept is also just 7 mm thick, which would make it 9% thinner than iPhone 5s. It also comes with a narrower bezel, so it is only 8% larger than the iPhone 5s, despite a much larger display. It comes with a sapphire display instead of gorilla, which has been another rumor that has been making the rounds. It also features a 10-megapixel camera with a larger aperture of f1/8 and a faster A8 chip. He has also not forgotten to include the Healthbook app on the Home screen. There have been rumors that the new app could come bundled with iOS 8. In terms of design it sports the same design as the iPhone 5s, and iPhone 5. It is just thinner, larger and comes with a narrower bezel. The iPhone Air concept is easily the most well made iPhone 6 concept we’ve seen so far, but this concept by folks at ConceptsiPhone based on the iPad Air or iPad mini design with the curved edges is my favorite iPhone 6 concept so far.
