Yahoo Weather updated with pull-to-refresh photos, new precipitation data

Yahoo updated its Weather app with a handful of new features that add some polish to the app. The app is known for its gorgeous UI, which includes Flickr photos that match your weather and time of day. These latest additions build upon this solid foundation, making the overall experience even better than it was before. The biggest change in Yahoo Weather is the addition of new weather parameters such as wind chill, which will be displayed wind is a factor in the forecast. The app now also shows the chance of precipitation on both the 5 and 10-day forecasts, which is a welcome addition that brings Yahoo on par with its competitors in this area. Photos also are improved with a new pull-to-refresh allowing users to refresh their weather image on demand. As noted in the app description, the full list of new features in Yahoo Weather include the following: Added chance of precipitation to 5-day and 10-day forecasts. Wind chill shown with summary screen when relevant. New animations for moon phases as you scroll through details. Pull to refresh shows a new photograph when possible.
