Apple is moving around executives, adding a new VP in online retail and losing a member of its Maps group. Both of these changes were first noticed by 9to5Mac and TechCrunch. Bob Kupbens, Former Vice President of Marketing, joined Apple to as the company’s new Vice President of Online Retail. His move foreshadows the transition of former Burberry CEO Angela Ahrendts to Senior Vice President of both Apple retail stores and online retail. Kupbens likely will replace current Online VP Jennifer Bailey, who is rumored to be heading up Apple’s mobile payments project. At the same time 9to5Mac noticed the Kupbens change, TechCrunch reports the Chomp co-founder Cathy Edwards will be leaving Apple effective April 11th. She joined Apple after Apple acquired Chomp and served as Director of Evaluation and Quality for Apple Maps. He departure is less significant to Apple as the Maps team is reportedly well-staffed.
