A World Wrestling Entertainment representative allegedly confirmed on Facebook that the professional wrestling channel will debut on the Apple TV later this month. The now-deleted post was reported by MacRumors before it was pulled. In response to a fan question about the availability of WWE on Apple TV, the representative confirmed customers would be able to launch the WWE Network app on the Apple TV once the service is available. In order to experience WWE Network on an Apple TV, you must have a second generation or later (black) Apple TV and be a WWE Network subscriber. Once WWE Network is available, you will be able to launch the WWE Netowrk app directly from your Apple TV. Let us know if you have further questions! Thank you. The WWE Network will officially land on iOS starting February 24th in the form of a native app for the iPhone and iPad. A subscription to the network’s programming will cost $9.99 per month will require a minimum 6-month commitment. On the Apple TV, subscriptions will be handled by WWE directly and not via iTunes.
