For the first time ever, the Oscars will be live streamed to both online and mobile viewers. A real-time feed of both the pre-show and the full telecast of the awards show will be available for verified Watch ABC viewers. Watch ABC provides 24/7 access to ABC’s television programming to select customers in the US. Access to the Oscar live stream is limited to select cable TV customers in eight geographic markets across the US. Fans who want to watch the stream live must be a subscriber to Comcast, Cablevision, Cox Communications, Charter Communications, Midcontinent Communications, Verizon FiOS, Google Fiber and AT&T U-verse. They also must reside in one of ABC’s eight Owned Station markets, which include New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Houston, Raleigh-Durham and Fresno. If you meet the above criteria as a verified viewer, you can watch the full Oscars award show and the Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Oscars show on Sunday March 2nd. If you miss the live broadcast, you can view watch an on-demand replay through Watch ABC until March 5th. iOS owners can access the Oscar live stream by downloading the Watch ABC app and using their cable or satellite subscription username and password to verify their account.
