Airplay mirroring freezing on your Mac? Try turning off Bluetooth

Apple has posted a new support document on its site, acknowledging Airplay mirroring issues with late 2013 MacBook Pros and the new Mac Pro over an 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi network. Specifically, users are seeing their Airplay stream freezing or their connection getting dropped. The solution, Apple says, is to turn off Bluetooth from the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar or in System Preferences. This should considerably improve Airplay performance.
