Upcoming jailbreak tweak will let you unlock your Mac using TouchID

BioUnlock is an upcoming jailbreak tweak from Eric Castro that’ll let you unlock your Mac using your iPhone’s TouchID fingerprint sensor. You’ll be able to scan one fingerprint to unlock the Mac and another fingerprint to unlock the phone.The system requires you to install and application on the Mac, install the tweak from Cydia, and then pair the two devices. Once you map the fingerprints to their functionality, you’ll be all set to go. According to Castro, the basic unlocking functionalities are completed, but the iOS and OS X apps still need some polish. He hopes to release the utility before the end of the year.
