Sources have confirmed to AppleInsider that Apple is now fixing broken iPhone 5c screens as in-store repair. The repair service started with the iPhone 5 last year and was rumored to extend to the iPhone 5c this week. It’ll cost $149 per screen for the repair. Customers with a broken iPhone 5c screen can visit an Apple Store, where a technician trained in the process will repair the display using a special calibration machine. An employee talking to AppleInsider describes the procedure as “bringing China to the Genius Room.” The iPhone 5c repair service is available only in the US.
