Ryan Petrich has just released a new beta version of Activator, which brings a cool new feature for iPhone 5s users. Few days back Petrich had updated Activator to add support for Touch ID, so one could use it for any Activator action such as the Home button press. The new beta version (1.8.4-beta2) takes Touch ID support to a whole new level. It now allows iPhone 5s users to add an Activator action for each fingerprint that you’ve set in Touch ID. So for each of 5 fingerprints that you can setup in Touch ID, you can now set up an Activator action. So for example: If you’ve set up your thumbs in Touch ID, then you can set an Activator action to launch an app, or compose a Facebook post or anything else with one thumb, and launch another app, or compose a Tweet or any other Activator action with the other thumb. I tested it on my iPhone 5s, and it works quite well. Unfortunately, it seems to clash with other Touch ID based jailbreak tweaks such as BioLockdown (also developed by Petrich), AppLocker and BioProtect. In addition to this feature, the latest beta version of Activator also includes the following improvements and bug fixes: Add iOS 7 iPad images Update locatizations Block automatic clickthroughs in the ad view Reenable biometric sensor when event mode changes, so event always works Fix shutter/camera actions on iOS 7 Support slide gestures on the lock screen on iOS 7 Fix single press menu button even at lock screen on iOS 7 If you want to check it out then you will have to add Ryan’s repo to Cydia (http://rpetrich.ch/repo), and then install or upgrade the latest version of Activator.
