Twitter is updating its website with a new look and feel that borrows heavily from the company’s iOS and Android apps. The change is cosmetic and not functional as no new features were added to the service. Users who are familiar with the official Twitter app for iOS will be right at home with the user interface. This especially noticeable in the navigation bar, which has been totally revamped with icons that match the mobile app. The settings menu also has a few new options, including one to add accent colors. The other noticeable change is in your profile section on the home feed. This revamped profile now includes your full background picture as well as your profile image. You can’t miss it now — the new image-rich profile sits above your tweet statistics and “Who to Follow” section. The rest of the UI features a new font that is larger and more consistent across the columns. All the headings like “Tweets”, “Who to follow” and “Trends”You are all the same font style and size now.
