Apple is gearing up for its big iPhone launch on China Mobile, which kicks off on January 17. According to WSJ sources familiar with the matter, Foxconn is in high great, delivering 1 million iPhone 5s units China Mobile this week.With over 760 million customers, China Mobile is the largest wireless carrier in the world. Analysts believe the debut of the iPhone on China Mobile could boost iPhone sales by up to 30 million units this year. By shipping one million units ahead of he launch, Apple obviously is expecting strong sales on the Chinese carrier at the end of the week. Apple hasn’t placed an second order, so analysts are reluctant to predict how long this surge in sales will last. The WSJ contacted both China Mobile and Apple about this rumor.
