Beats Music launching on Jan 21 for $10 per month

Beats Music, the new music streaming service said to be “heavy” on curation, will launch on the 21st of this month, following a limited launch to alpha testers, and letting users reserve their usernames for the service. The 21st January launch will be only in the US, and pricing will start at $10 a month for a personal account, and $15 a month for a family account. The service will have an iOS, Android and Windows Phone app, and as well as a web counterpart. Beats’ music streaming project, codenamed “Project Daisy,” has been in private alpha since quite a while, and had raised $60 million from investors. It had also acquired music streaming service MOG last year, which will form an important part of Beats Music. The service is run by an impressive set of music personalities including Jimmy Iovine, Dr. Dre and Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and its differentiator would be “heavy” curation, and a focus on mobile. For more information, you can visit Beats Musics’ website. With so many music streaming services out there, including iTunes Radio, Spotify etc., will you be looking to move to Beats Music?
