The incubation period is over — Hatch to finally launch in the iOS App Store on November 20th

Hatch — the first iPhone app that loves you back– was unveiled in late 2012. Almost eleven months since its first unveiling, the virtual pet app is finally ready to launch in the next few weeks. Hatch is the brain child of Impending and Realmac software, the company behind to-do list Clear. As noted by TechCrunch, the new endeavor is more tamagotchi than to-do list. It stars a virtual pet that you can love and it will love you back. Virtual pets are not a very popular category on the iOS App Store, but the company believes it can innovate in this area. Starting last year, early adopters were able to adopt their pet Fugu egg and have been waiting patiently for it to hatch. Now that the app has passed through the App Store approval process and is slated for launch on November 20th, those eggs should turn into walking, talking blobs of cuteness.
