Delaware Apple Store employees pound chest about selling the most iPhones due to no taxes

America has 50 beautiful states, but a handful are prettier than the rest. What makes them so seductive? A complete lack of sales tax. That’s right, if you see something on a store shelf that costs $599, then it costs $599, not $599 + 8.25% or whatever it is you pay in your state. According to ABC News, employees at Apple’s Delaware store love to boast about this fact. Located in the Christiana Mall, employees say buses full of shoppers, often from New York and New Jersey, come to buy tens or even hundreds of iPhones that then get resold in other markets.
