Apple overhauled its iLife suite of apps for the Mac when it launched OS X Mavericks last month. After updating GarageBand for the Mac a few weeks ago with a handful of bug fixes, Apple now is rolling out a new version of iMovie. The remaining iLife app, iPhoto, is likely next on the list as it is the only iLife app that hasn’t been updated this month. Apple overhauled iMovie for the Mac when it rolled out OS X Mavericks last month. The app received a completely new look along with a handful of new features in version 10.0. The latest version, 10.0.1, brings some welcome improvements in reliability when updating projects and events from earlier versions of the iMovie app. Apple also added in support for computers with older video cards, which previously could not install this latest version of the app. iMovie for Mac weighs in at a hefty 1.94GB and can be downloaded for $14.99 from the Mac App Store.
