Microsoft launches Office 365 Personal plan; lets you use Office on One Mac and One iPad for $69/year

Microsoft finally launched the much-awaited Office for iPad apps last month, and while the three apps — PowerPoint, Word and Excel — were free, users had to subscribe to the $9.99/month for editing documents. If you wanted to use the Office iPad apps for editing, but found the $9.99/month subscription expensive, Microsoft today launched a new Office 365 Personal plan, that’ll let you use Office on one PC/Mac and one iPad for $6.99/month or $69/year. Apart from the restriction on the number of devices, the Office 365 Personal ($69/year) and Office 365 Home ($99/year) plans are largely the same: The $6.99/month or $69/year plan lets you use Office on one iPad and one PC/Mac, gives you 20GB of extra storage on OneDrive, and 60 world minutes of calling per month on Skype. The Office for iPad apps have received good reviews, and also been liked by users, if App Store charts are any indication. You can download them from the App Store links below: Microsoft Word for iPad Microsoft Excel for iPad Microsoft PowerPoint for iPad Microsoft Office Mobile for iPhone For more information on the Office 365 Personal Plans, visit Microsoft’s website.
