Now that OS X Mavericks 10.9.1 has been released to the masses, Apple is looking ahead to the next version of OS X Mavericks 10.9. Today, the company made some progress in that direction by releasing the first beta version of OS X 10.9.2 to developers. The release notes for 10.9.2 contains the standard warning to not install the software on a production machine with information that is important. It is a gentle reminder to new developers that this is a pre-release build and could contain critical bugs that effect the performance of your machine. Apple also warns users that they can not revert back to the previous system after updating. As part of this build, Apple is asking users to focus on five major areas. Not surprisingly, Mail is at the top of the focus list followed by Messages,VPN, Graphics Drivers and VoiceOver. The download is available from OS X Developer Center on Apple’s website.
