Owl City founder helped create the new sounds in iOS 7

Apple’s iOS 7 is filled with lots of eye candy as well as a handful of new system sounds. These new ringtones, text tones and alerts are the creative product of Owl City founder and singer Adam Young. This link between Owl City and iOS 7 was revealed on Adam Young’s Discography page, which listed Apple as the artist and “Sounds for iOS 7″ as the label. It’s not clear how many sounds in iOS 7 were created by Young, but apparently he played some sort of role in the creation of this part of iOS 7. After being spotted on Young’s page and reported by the tech press, the reference to Apple was promptly removed by Young.
