After months of speculation, the rumored iPad Mini 2, aka the iPad Mini with Retina Display, is now officially official. Apple unveiled the device during a press event held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, California. Now that the event is over, Apple has updated its product pages with high-resolution images of the latest iPad mini tablet. The latest iPad Mini looks almost identical to its predecessor. It has the same overall shape and size as the original iPad mini, but it is slightly thicker (0.3mm) and heavier (23g).
